This beautiful game, but the mission takes minute.

Love this game! Have enjoyed playing it, havent figured out the right combination for the missions yet but I will definitely continuously come back and try it out. Amazing replay ability, design and concept.

I'm glad you enjoy the game that much! Thank you for the kind words. Hope the hints are enough to help you narrow down the mission combinations, but if not and you get frustrated then let me know. =D

It was awesome to see the art and concept of Famikase beautifully recreated as a game!

The moment of the homunculus birth was very exciting and good. Although I could not accomplish the Mission, I was happy to see the birth of a homunculus with beautiful eyes just as I wanted.

Also, I really like the atmosphere of the research facility.

Thank you! I loved watching your playthrough. Also, thank you for finding the error! Because I could watch exactly what caused it, I was able to fix and update the game. =D

I had a lot of fun too, thank you very much meow! I'm also interested in MISSION, so I'm sure I'll give it a try one of these days!

One of my favorite recent creations inside PICO-8. You tackled a tricky/difficult cart and came out with an amazing little puzzle game in the end.

Grpahics and sound effects are top-notch, the laboraty looks chatoic and amazing fitting for a researcher trying to create new life.

I personally enjoy the slow pacing, it helps you immerse yourself into the old guy, who is burdened by what he might create. The rng can be a bit hard to play with, but it’s all part of the game. pray for rng.

Really well done!

Thank you very much!

Not exactly sure what caused it, but the game gave an overflow error and crashed. I assume I made a stat go too low. And while I did enjoy what I was able to play, with the random +s and -s its hard to actually do any planning, and it takes a good chunk of time to do even a single round, so if you've guessed wrong, it can be a bit of a slog to try again. Still, with the constraints of a game jam it's still fun! I love the entire concept, and will probably try again later, I am a sucker for puzzles like this.

Awesome! You are right, it is purposefully a bit slow and becomes sort of a grind to test out your theories of which virtues will achieve a mission. The biggest challenge is the RNG of the +s and -s, but if you go in with 2 possible missions in mind, one for positive virtues and one for negatives, then you should be able to achieve one of them by being able to adapt to the +s and -s that you get. Thanks for playing! Good luck on your next attempt, and hopefully I'll have found that lingering bug and update it before you try again.

That is a really cute game with art and mechanics to support the mystery. I really enjoyed my time on the island helping to create a creature that focuses on bringing justice into the world

So glad to hear that, thanks for playing!

Amazing, it's a concept I've never seen before. I love everything in this game, except maybe the collisions with the door outside, it was kinda difficult to enter, at least on my phone. 10/10

Thanks so much! That means a lot.
Sorry about that door collision, I spent a while trying to improve it while keeping the collision of the building. I ended up settling on adding that pathway out the door to try to entice players to enter diagonally from below as that is best. If I figure out a better way, then I'll surely improve it and update the game.
